Vermont freeskier dies after 60-foot flip into bomb hole

Vermont's Ryan Hawks died Monday night due to injuries sustained at North American Freeskiing Championship in Kirkwood, Calif. According to reports (LINK, LINK), Ryan was terminally injured when he landed in a large bomb hole after throwing a backflip off a 60+ foot cliff in the middle of his run.
